Hello, fancy seeing you here! Welcome to Life Drawing. If you previously drew with us at No Vacancy Gallery (2008-2015) or Missing Persons (2016-2023) in the Nicholas Building, you'll be pleased to know that we’ve relocated to Coates Community Arts in the Coates Building. Life Drawing has been running continually for 18 years in Melbourne's CBD.
You can join us anytime at Coates Community Arts at 20 Collins Street. Check the where page for public transport and parking options.
Life Drawing is held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7–9pm, except for public holidays and during the summer break (16 Dec 2026 until 11 Jan 2027).
The class is $22, inclusive of art supplies. Drawing paper and materials are provided. Online bookings are available through TryBooking, and walk-ins are also welcome. We take cash and card payments at the door. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before 7pm to settle in. Our doors open at 6:30pm.
In 2024, we proudly received a Lord Mayor's Small Business Achievement Award from the City of Melbourne, recognising our longstanding commitment to the life drawing community in Melbourne.
